Overview
I started off playing as the Huntress, one of the ranged killers in Dead by Daylight. I had a daily ritual to hit a certain number of survivors with hatchets, which is a bit of a challenge for me since I’m not the best with Huntress — or ranged killers in general, to be honest. My aim isn’t great, so I tend to avoid these types of killers unless a daily ritual calls for it. But hey, practice makes perfect, right?
The match began, and I quickly spotted Dwight, who made himself an easy target. He was basically asking for it, so I took my chance. I don’t have any generator defense perks in this build, so kicking gens isn’t much help. Still, I was able to catch a survivor off guard, probably because they thought I was coming from a different direction.
At one point, I commented on Trickster’s recent buff. I honestly don’t understand why they made him stronger, but I guess we’ll all see how it plays out when the Chucky chapter goes live on November 28th. It’s always interesting to see how new content shakes up the game.
Overall, it was a classic Dead by Daylight experience: chasing, hooking, and strategizing, all while trying to complete my daily ritual with the Huntress. I’m not a huge fan of playing as her, but it felt good to get a little better with each match.
